Just bought an IPDAD-3 (4G) Verizon based. Have the Hotspot feature. It is enabled and working fine on the IPAD. However, every time I start the IPAD and the MacBook Air (say in a coffee shop), the Hotspot network name does not appear in my WIFI list of available networks for a long time (sometimes never--sometimes several minutes before I see it).

I tried turning WIFI off and on on the MacBook Air and on the IPAD (in no particular sequence) to no avail.

Anyone know of a trick to make the HotSpot network show up faster on the MacBook Air?

Thanks.

Either toggle off and on your hotspot feature on the iPad or use bluetooth to connect. It'll work every time.
