After upgrading to iOS 6 - I noticed that they have added battery usage to the general section in the settings app. My battery seems to be draining a bit quicker on iOS six.

Last night, I charge my iPad to a 100% and then unplugged it and let it sit there all night. When I woke up, the battery was at 94% even though it had not been used.

I check to the usage section and this is what I saw, over four hours of usage even thoughnthe iPad was doing nothing. How is this possible?

Stats only reset when the battery reaches full charge.

Is there a reason you are unplugging the iPad at night? You should leave it in so it can automatically back up to iCloud etc.

Must be an iOS 6 thing. Here's mine on 5.1.1.

iOS 5 does not show statistics for the iPad. It would appear that you are runng a jailbroken OS with it added in. Your screenshots also state "time since last full charge".

P.S. you should use TIMG tags rather than IMG tags for large images.

Yes, I'm using a Cydia package to show it.

    Thanks for the TIMG tip!

My battery has definitely been draining quicker while using the ipad on iOS6

Worst of all i have noticed slight lag with some apps and also my home button response has slowed.

The battery did reach full charge, what I am showing is that there were four hours of usage even though I did not use the iPad at all. This seems like a bug

I'd say you had some app working on background, something what was using Wifi probably. Try to charge iPad again today to have 100% before you'll go to bed, turn on Airplane mode, and I bet there will be 100% when you wake up ;)

@Kokhean, how many % have you left after that usage ? I have now 73%, standby is 27hours; usage 5hrs 22mins. That's pretty good imho :)

I'm running fine on iOS 6. Battery has been better than iOS 5 since day 1.

Really ? I have iPad just for three days, so I'm not familiar with it's battery life :)
Well, recently I was using it only for web browsing with music on background, I was downloading some apps and games, and I've also tried to play Modern Combat 3, but only for like 10 minutes. Then a bit of TV Streaming. I'm glad to know my iPad has such a good battery life :p
