My school is looking at purchasing up to 400 iPad 3 cases and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations under $20. I found a couple on monoprice that seemed nice.

    Thanks for any help.

for 400, can't you call up the different manufacturers and see what they can offer..seems like a pretty big order for them that i'm sure they'd try to accommodate.

also, what kind of case are you looking for? all around protection, just the back, folio style, book style, etc....

We're looking for full protection. Ideally we would get a decent case for students and then a sleeve for when they take it out of the classroom.

Search for Moko iPad cases on Amazon. It's the case I use on my iPad 3 right now. It's only $19.99 but you may get better pricing considering your ordering in bulk.

If you like wooden iPad 3 cases, below cases will be a good choice, $18 per unit,it's suitable to men and women.

If you like cheap and simple one, this smart cover is also ok.

Contact a seller on amazon that's sold a few, with a starting price at around $20. I'm sure you could get it down to $12-$13 with such a big order.

Devicewear Union, awesome shell! Its great!

I subscribe to metagamers youtube channel and he had this video. I'll confirm its an awesome back case/shell for the price! I don't know why anyone would spend more unless it was for serious drop protection.

    Watch this video... http://youtu.be/vjSHtP1OuTs?hd=1

I really can't believe this isn't well known on these boards. Just needs some exposure and I hate people considering other crap when this is a great product for a great price and fits the needs of so many people!

Can you really rely on sub 20 dollar case to protect an ipad from students?!

The school needs to value their initial hardware investment more highly

    sorry this is delayed!

I actually just came across your original post back in February when you were initially looking to purchase iPads in bulk. Had I seen that sooner, I would have been happy to offer you a potential solution.

Did you end up purchasing the iPad 3 directly from Apple? Curious as to what your plans are for the future with those?

I work for a company that allows enterprises to buy, trade, and sell their IT hardware on an online platform. iPads have been extremely popular for us lately, as we're seeing many iPad 2's being traded across the site. In the case that you're looking to replenish or update your product we would love to help you monetize your used product in order to increase your purchasing budget for those newer versions next year. If this is of interest to you let me know and we can continue the conversation further!

    Thanks!
