iPad 3 charges slow

My friends iPad 3 charges slow with a third party accessory even when it's off. Plz give meh clues

Was charging with 3rd party accessory fast before? If it was then that's odd - if it was always slow - perhaps try a more powerful apple charger? (e.g. 10W one?)

How long have they had the iPad 3? It might be that the battery isn't in as good condition.

iPad 3 is quite power hungry due to the retina screen and older chipset; I had to get the 10W wall charger just to do it faster.

My friend owned the iPad for 5 years and she lost the charging cable and USB power adapter on the 3rd year owning it

6 hours seems fine to me, the iPad 3 have a huge 11560 mAh battery, the largest of any iPads (even the Pro).

But the iPad still charges slow, even overnight.
