A news story on Channel 12, WKRC TV yesterday evening reported Apple to release iPAD 3's in September. I googled and found that Mr. Jobs had released a statement yesterday but couldn't find any particular mention of a release date for iPad 3.

There are always rumours about upcoming Apple products and this one has been running for months. In my opinion, it's unlikely that Apple will release an iPad 3 so soon after the iPad 2 release. More likely, they'll release a smaller version of iPad 2 (maybe a 'iPad 2 pocket') which fills the gap between the iPod touch and the iPad.

We'll see...
