iPad 3 downgrade with redsn0w

Everywhere I've seen says it's possible - but I don't see how. It came preloaded with 5.1, so obviously no one will have blobs for 5.0.1. Is there something I am missing or are they just saying "it would work IF blobs existed"?

Only for future uses if you want to update to 5.1.1 (or later) and want to come back down to 5.1
