Forgive me if this has already been posted about but I caught something on Apple's website just now.
I don't own a new iPad but the last time I went to an Apple Store and played with one (about a week ago), I don't remember the camera having the HDR photo option built-in. They were all running iOS 6.
But, from the built-in apps section on Apple's iPad website, I found this (see attached thumbnail).
Did the new iPad get HDR with iOS 6? Or is this just a glitch on Apple's part, or a preview of things to come?
