Last year there were people who would post ads on craigslist saying that the iPad will be available on launch day. What they did is presell it to the person and then camped out and got it for them. Essentially you were paying someone else to camp out for you to make sure you got an iPad.

This happened with the iPad 2, the poster is going to scalp a couple. Usually get 3-4 people to buy 2. Cause people to pay crazy prices on craigslist. The same thing happened with the PS3 had so much hype.
