iPad iPad 3 owners: Are YOU upgrading to the iPad 4?

Well, I can. It's what a 200 dollar upgrade, now how much will that upgrade cost when the iPad 5 comes out?

iPad 4, it's a stable build. I can't imagine, what iPad 5 will bring to the table besides a new form. I don't see it being much faster, as apple is on a 2 year cycle to double performance.

No way. I really can't wrap my head around why any iPad 3 owners would "need" to upgrade to an iPad 4 - unless they just have extra money to burn.

I wasn't going to, but then coincidentally, the battery in my 3 decided to go sleepy time and I ended up with a refurb. I've got a friend buying it off me, so add the recent sale of my iPod touch and the upgrade will cost me a staggering $2.00.

I'm keeping my 3. Thought about upgrading as the wife and I have both owned the first 3 gens of iPads. Always sell and upgrade. But I'm not seeing any kind of issues with the software that I use. I'm keeping my iPad 3.

I just can't see the true upgrade advantage for my use. Beside I just got the iPad 3 four months ago. The wife only 3 months ago.

I just bought the iPad 3 a few weeks ago so was able to upgrade to the 4 for no cost.

I have to say it seems significantly faster in opening up apps and their files. It's also nice to have a better camera on the front.

Don't really notice a change in web browsing at this point.

So no complaints here.

Can anyone put the significant difference in the Front HD Camera between iPad-3 and iPad-4 is it really a Huge difference ?

Not knocking those who have upgraded, have fun, I just hope you're big into games as I struggle to see the benefit otherwise.

Why aint anybody mentioning about the Factime HD Camera ?

I had planned on it. Was ready to sell my iPad on eBay until I saw the comparison videos. The speed is really negligible to me. I'm glad I saw that though. Two times the processing speed is great, but not worth the effort to switch.

No I'm not upgrading. If I was in the 30 days I would as it wouldn't cost anything but not paying to upgrade. I have ordered a Mini for myself though as my girlfriend mainly uses the iPad.

I did, but only because I just bought the iPad 3 22 days ago and the upgrade was free. The speed increase is definitely noticeable but not worth the cost. I was on an iPad 1 up until 3 weeks ago, so ANYthing seems faster!
