iPad 3 Question

I have a vodafone 3g dongle - if I cut the sim down to micro size will it work in the new iPad so I can use the mobile data?

Stupid question I know but if it will why not use it!

It may, but only in the future, after it can be JBed and/or Unlocked. As it is, only the carriers it is sold on will work...

So basically because I have a vodafone dongle, if I buy a Vodafone iPad from Apple then it should just work.

I'm pretty sure all iPads are sold unlocked (with the exception of countries like Japan and (don't call me on this) Korea).
