iPad 3 Screenshots Problem

I don't know if this is normal or not but when i take a screen shot on my iPad 3, after pressing the 2 buttons, there is a short delay. Someone else please try this and and tell me whether this is normal or not. Thank you.

Not a short delay! The world is ending!

Every apple device I have owned has had a delay, so I wouldn't expect that it's a problem.

Try rebooting it.. Mine has like a mili second delay it's normal
