iPad 3 Webpage Mockup

The Apple Store
Since all the rumors are pointing to the iPad 3 having the same design, I decided to create a mockup of what the page could look like. Opinions?

EDIT: Also Did a Invite Mockup

These are both pretty good. Except they feel more like teaser pictures that we'd see leaked before an announcement (the first one especially). But maybe that's why I like them :D
 
excelent job mate. if it was all white instead of black, would look more like the apple way :D
 
Apple throws a random black background in sometimes (iPhone 4, MacBook Air) and from a graphical point of view, I wanted the iPad to blend and black background was the best way of doing it.
 
No not believable. Apple doesn't do black pages. And it would say "Starting at $499"
 
It's also unlikely Apple would place "A6 Processor" or "4G LTE" front and centre on the advert. Apple tends not to push technical specifications, but rather what can be done with those technologies.

So it would more likely say "Fastest tablet ever - online and offline" or something like that.
 
To everyone saying Apple doesn't do black, the page for the 2010 MacBook Air was completely black just like this.

Yes, I love the hint of retina in your invite :D It really is going to be something that people are going to need to hold, and see in person in order to appreciate its true beauty. It's not like you can make a TV commercial to show off the screen. The iPad 3 is going to have more resolution than a 1080p HDTV.
 
I love the invite! 'Seeing is believing' is awesome, defiantly sounds very apple like. I hope they use it :)

Thanks :), I wanted to hint the retina display and that's why I used the smart cover just uncovering the screen a little bit. I really cannot wait for the retina display, I use my iPad 2 everyday for text and things like that, so
If the retina display is anything like the iPhone 4 and 4S, I'm going to be amazed by it. Defiantly waiting in line for the top of the line one. Back to the invite, I used a few tiny design cues from the iPad 2 event and threw in some hints from all the rumors
