My iPad 3G is connected to WiFi but i cannot access the internet, when i check the WiFi information on the iPad the Subnet Mask and IP Address are filled but the router, DNS, Search Domains, and Client Id fields are empty. I am connected on my macbook Pro and on my iPod to the Wifi and it works perfectly. What solutions are available?
----Also, I just noticed that the IP address that appears on my iPad starts with 169 rather than the 192 that appears on my other devices

My iPad 3G works fine in the United States but i am in Spain now and the iPad is finding networks like Oranje, Movistar, etc. but it cant seem to connect. Anybody have any solutions?

Do a reset of the network settings and somewhat start over.

Settings->general->reset->reset network settings

And, do you have sims for the networks you see in Spain? Without that you aren't going to get them to work.

Try giving your iPad a static IP one higher than on your MacBook. Use all the same subnet, router and DNS settings.

Also, you won't be able to join the other networks unless you have data roaming turned on.

Don't do this unless you know what it is going to cost you!!!! Be careful roaming $$$$

This Worked! Thank you very much for your help.
Oh good! I was hoping it would and was thinking I should have stated it as, "try this FIRST", glad I didn't have to dream up a step 2 - because i wouldn't have been able too! :D
