johndallas999 macrumors 6502a Jul 23, 2013 #2 I was in the same boat and spent the extra 40 bucks for the iPad 4. For that price you'll get a device that will perform so much better.

B Breaking Good macrumors 65816 Jul 23, 2013 #5 At this point, I would go with the iPad 4 refurb. I do not expect iOS 8 support for the iPad 3. Apple does not appear to support iPads as long as iPhones.

Harp77 macrumors member Original poster Jul 25, 2013 #7 Personally I think I am gonna go with the 4. Looking at it last night at the Apple store it is more than what I need. Just the BIG debate: new or refurb 😕

mpayne2k macrumors 6502a Jul 25, 2013 #8 If money is tight and you really want an iPad now, I'd say spend the difference and spring for the 4.

Ladybug macrumors 68000 Jul 25, 2013 #9 I have an ipad 3 but if I was buying a refurb I'd get a 4. It performs better and will last you a bit longer I'm sure.
