Just for the record : I was about to order a ** EDIT 32 EDIT ** Gb wifi this morning as soon as the Apple Store came back on line ... it said delivery in 1 - 3 days but my wife wanted to engrave something on it so I waited almost an hour to close the order : the mail I got says that delivery will be within 2 weeks ... I'd like to know what you all guys got as delivery dates to make a comparison.

I tried the pre-order page and it says 11/2. Refresh or go completely out your page and try again.

The order is still in the second phase of the four (the first one being "order received" and the last one "delivered") ...

engraving will push the delivery dates out by 2 weeks.

The engraving is being made on the iPad Smart Case I added to my order, not directly on the iPad 4 ... do you think that if I cancel it (as I can still do it) I will get my iPad earlier ?

not sure, but that is definately the only thing what would cause your date not be Nov 2nd.

I would call apple and ask if that will make a difference, since there really isn't a reason to hold up the iPad delivery since the Smart case is being engraved.
