For the past 5ish days, my iPad 4 keeps crashing (?). It doesn't matter what I'm doing, browsing safari, moving icons on the home screen, on reddit. The screen goes black, but it's still on (like a full screen image of just black). It is unresponsive. I have to do a hard reboot (home+power button). If I leave it for around 1 minute on this black screen, it will sometimes go back to what was previously on the screen, but it's frozen. One time after rebooting, a black screen with "connect to iTunes" came up.
I have done two restores. My software is up to date. After my last restore, I have only downloaded two apps (Overcast & AMRC). It is out of warranty and I don't have an apple store nearby. There is a Simply Mac authorized dealer in my town that I think I'll drop by tomorrow.
Do you guys have any ideas? It's very upsetting.
