iPad 4 on iOS 8.1.1

Any improvements to Safari? Memory wise? and smoothness?

Well my iPad 4 hasn't locked up since the update so maybe they have finally got it right. Would like to know how the ipad 2/3 are fairing as I have one of each that I haven't upgraded yet.

killed my sound, all sound, no speaker working. searching for fix now

All fixed. Hard reboots power button and home button did nothing for me, a simple shut down via power button slide to power off fixed.

8.1 seems ok to me.

My wife has an iPad 4 and stays it's running great for her using 8.1.1.

No complaints with the performance of 8.1.1 on an iPad 4 here.
