I highly doubt apple will knock anything off a product on its release date. If they do it will be an amount not worth worrying about.
 
Oh, and how long does it take to prepare them for shipment? Lol, come on!

Edit: they must be reading as mine is... SHIPPED! Wooooo

Mines still "preparing" - I do have engraving though... Awesome news about possible 22nd delivery for you though!

I pre-ordered a wifi only on the 27th, but then changed my mind on the 12th. So canceled and reordered. Dunno if that made any difference.

Just looked on the tracking, it's only by Birmingham (I live nr swansea) so it should be here in the morning :)

I just got the text message to expect it tomorrow! It's shipped! .. Only thing I'm wondering is about Black Friday! I have a feeling apple don't care about customers anymore it's more about profit profit profit!

I wouldn't worry, if they are profit profit profit then they won't discount any recent products ;)
 
Afraid I carnt help as mines coming by a carrier I've never heard of. Try typing in the number if your copy and pasting now?

Put the 'Tracking Number' down in the 'Order/Delivery No' box and the 'Your PO Number' in the 'Web Order No' box.

UPS tracking numbers start with 1Z

its showing the carrier as UPS but the tracking number provided doesnt have 1Z in it at all :confused: .. i just tried the syncreon page but saying the similar thing .. maybe they have written the wrong carrier on my status .. should i try fed ex?

Your shipping status from apple will most likely update with a "1Z" number in the morning. If not, ring apple and they can provide this for you. It should be 18 characters long. Don't stress, same happened with my iPhone5.
 
called apple .. and they provided the ups tracking number .. however it says the shipment hasnt arrived at the warehouse yet, apple said check in the morning for more detailed info! .. im all excited, want to put all my tv shows on it as soon as :-D .. feels like we have been waiting forever and a day lol

I've wanted an ipad for 3odd years, now my kids have started school etc, I managed to convince my "better" half it will help there education.. Yeh, if they can ever pry it from my hands lol. I hope it does arrive in the morning or I'm going to be one sad bunny
 
Got my shipment email today, ipad is currently showing as in Hinckley GB. Surprised how fast it has shipped seen as I didn't order it until sat 17/11/12 estimated delivery on ordering was 27/11/12 but now it's shipped and currently in Hinckley GB estimated delivery is now today. :)
Only problem is I work nights and need to be out of bed in time when courier knocks, if I hear the door lol.
On another subject, LTE has started working ion my iPhone 5 on EE in my area in Kent, can't believe how rapid it is- faster than my sky broadband

Leave a note on your door saying "bang loudly till I answer" lol. I wish I could get lte here :( bloody welsh valleys
