iPad iPad 4 Wifi Issues

Hey guys, I have a launch day iPad 4 which I am very happy with. Only trouble is though that when the iPad is sleeping it isn't connected to my home Wifi, and it takes a minute or two after I wake it to get connection again. I had an iPad 2 and this never happened so I can't think it's the OS and it's not my Wifi as my iPhone 5 handles it fine. Any ideas what I should do?

It fixed it for me when reset network setting did not on my mini same issue.

(since then returned the mini)

Did you reset the network settings on your iPad or your router. I don't see where to reset my my network settings on the iPad. Thanks!
