Well depends on what you want to do with it? It isn‘t like you can get much money when selling it. iPadOS 15 is the last iPadOS this tablet will receive, so it is still fairly to date at this point of time.

If you are just going to do some web browsing, watch some videos and playing some light weighted games, I would say keep it.

Just don‘t use this iPad for any sensitive staff, i.e. banking apps. Otherwise, it will last as long as this iPad still working. I mean, my dad is still using his iPad mini 3 for most of video watching right now.

I say yes. My iPad 5th generation (2 of them) with latest iPadOS is running quite well for my needs. As others have said, basic functionality is just fine. It's still quite a capable device, especially now that it'll be compatible with iPadOS 16. I think it's underrated by many just because of age and generation number.
