Hello first post
Would anyone know if the air 2 and new iPad have the same digitizer. The new iPad 9.7 lcd and digitizer are not a glued assy like the air 2 but are the digitizers the same?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I just purchased a Ipad 2017 128gb broken and wasn't sure which digitizer if any out there would work.

Also, 2017 iPad LCD is compatible with iPad Air 1. If you install the 2017 iPad LCD on iPad Air 1, it will be brighter. On the contrary, the iPad Air 1 LCD can also work in 2017 iPad, but it will make the display dim, the left edge has weird back-light leak, and the home button won't work, according to iFixit.
The iPad Air 1 digitizer works fine in an iPad 2017.

I'm a mechanic by trade but don't mind working on these in the evenings. I have started a small business in the last four weeks have
purchased 16 iPads off eBay and all the screens and small parts.
Four 4th gen 16-32
Five mini 2 16-32
One mini 4 64
Two air 1st gen 32
Two air 2 64
One air 2 128
One ipad 2017 128
Getting pretty good at separating the air 2 screen/lcd. Still have to do the mini 4 yet.
I bought those leather sleep cases for all of them. Good selling feature I thought.
Thanks for your help
