I have a weird situation. My original iPad home button was sticking a little so I ended up getting Applecare to send me an advanced replacement. So I receive my replacement and ship back my original, everything is good. But yesterday I have a FedEx doortag for a missed shipment and come to find out it's from Apple. I called them and they have no record of a shipment to me? I just received it and it's my original iPad (stated it was resolved on reproducible)? But WTF? And the credit card authorization they apply until they receive the original has also been released. Anyone ever heard of this? When I look up my serial under support I get.
