iPad Air 10.5 Smart Cover alternatives

Wanting to get a Smart Cover for my new iPad, but all the 3rd party options seem to come with a back casing, which I specifically don’t want.

Has anyone been able to locate such a cover?

Buy an Apple Smart Cover. Plenty on eBay and Amazon. Look for the Pro 10.5 Smart Cover.

I got an Apple Smart Cover for $20 on Amazon right when Apple discontinued the colors.. If you look around for discontinued colors you can find one. A lot of the resellers have them. Check out Best Buy or Target for them. You can price match too. I saw Target has them for $30. They even have iPad 2/3 smart covers.

It's so crazy. I searched high and low and could not find any place that sells iPad smart covers. There are many websites that talk about covers, but they are actually cases. What's the deal? Apple patented it or something? You would think there were a high demand for it.

I never found one and ended up going with the Apple cover for my 10.5 Pro.
