Hi All, I'm new here so I apologise if what I am going to say here does not make sense or has already been discussed before.

My iPad Air, 1st generation, cannot switch on anymore. The issue started when I was using it normally then all of a sudden I got a blue screen (for 1-2 seconds) and then it switched off. I tried switching it on and the Apple icon comes up, but then it switches off again. The strange thing is that it tries to switch on again by itself for multiple times and I stop it from doing so by holding the Home and Power button - it is the only way to stop it.

What do you think is necessary for it to start working again? it's in top notch condition (been in a cover since purchased) and frankly, I do not want to throw it away before seeing what's wrong with it. Maybe the entire logic board needs replacing?

    Thanks!

Most likely its a bad battery and you should be able to get a replacement at apple for $99 plus tax
