Considering it's listed as a compatible charger by Apple, why would it?

Because Steve never cheated out on any product when they could have made it better....

LOL. This statement sounds funny to my ear. Sounds like some fanboy-ism. Don't get me wrong, I love Steve Jobs. He made me thrilled everytime Apple is announcing new products. But I like Apple more when Cook reigns.

Just FYI, Apple cut corners on accesories whenever they can. Macbook laptops used to ship full with accessories such as cables or USB boot drive. Now see what they are shipping with.

The Air did, (I've got 2 of them so they must have come with at least 2 models) it says 12w on the charger where a 10w says 10w
