I got mine at best buy, 250 trade in plus 50 coupon automatic towards air 2 and they gave me 20 off to match apples educational discount

So here's the deal:

Starting tomorrow, you'll be able to trade in the iPad 2 or later, and you'll receive anywhere from $150 to $300 depending on the model and condition. You'll get store credit towards a new one.

They don't have 64GB Wi-Fi models but have every other model...

Hopefully it won't take too long. I might just wait for Black Friday sales if it takes 2 weeks to ship and deliver.

Does anyone know if they sell the 'updated' iPad covers yet? I have a GC that would be perfect. How do I tell the difference between last years and thus years cover?

It should probably say iPad Air 2 smart covers instead of iPad Air smart covers?

The best part about buying at Target - 90 day return window. The 14 days that Apple gives is a total joke in comparison.

Unfortunately it's 30 days for electronic devices and 60 days if you have a red card, but that's still a lot better than Apple and Best Buy's joke of a return policy.

Oh yea? Thanks for the correction. :) I didn't know that it had changed. When I got my iPad 3, I ended up returning it for screen issues at day 89. That was a couple of years ago, and apparently things have changed. It seems like retailers are dialing back on their return policies. I remember when BB was 30 days.

I have the red card, and like you said, 60 days is a lot better than the 14 at the Apple store or whatever BB does now.

Yep, it went into effect September 2012. it was 45 days before that though, so I'm a bit surprised you were able to return the iPad 3.

Seriously Target...iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi 64GB...

please

I can look up to see which Targets in your area have it. Just give me the city your Target is located and the color you want.

I ended up getting mine at the Apple Store. If target does the 100 dollar off for Black Friday I think I'm getting another. This iPad is easily the best performing one out of the box since the iPad 2 when it was first released.

I guess you didn't have the 3 or the 4 or the Air? They all shredded the 2 :D

Thanks, but I already checked my local Target stores. They don't have the models I want.

Plus I have to order online, I have some trade-in credit that supposedly only works online.

Very subtle. The back of the box will have a picture of the iPad Air 2 with the single row of speaker holes instead of the Air with the double rows.

Do you know if Target match Apple's education pricing? And if employee discount work with it? :D:D

If people want to save extra money, target is launching a wish list app in a few days which will allow parents to create wish lists, and by doing so they save 10%.

i wish they'd consolidate these, as of now, you need texts to get to the coupons, the cartwheel app, and now a separate wish list? Can't they put it in just one?

On the trade in...i already traded in to BB saturday got 185 + 50 for a 3rd gen 64gb wifi white. Apart from wM that allegedly doubles the value, with the movers BB was overall the best deal. My target had gold 16gb and silver 64gb for the record, no 128gb.

Anyone know when Target is getting their shipment of iPads? I'm looking for a cellular model not just a wifi.

I just walk into Apple store and got one this morning, no lines. Why would you care about this store stilling credit cards from the people?
