iPad iPad Air 2: Battery Life Discussions

hows the battery life on the device adding up for you guys?

Is it lacking as compared to the iPad Air 1?
 
Seems to dip a bit faster than my 3 and Mini 2. You can actually watch the percentage drop while staring at the screen. seems on par with my 6 plus which gets up to almost 9 hours.
