Got a deal at bestbuy with their 3 year protection plan. I bought the iPad Air 2 w and did it through Verizon edge. When the clerk rang it up on the register at bb the price for bb protection plan came up as 79 dollars. The reason is bc the price for thr iPad was zero owed to be. I am paying it monthly to Verizon thru edge. At bb a tablet with a cost of up to 50 dollars has a price of 79 for their protection plan. I owed bb 0 dollars bc I am paying Verizon directly. The sales clerk called over a manager and the manager said the price on there screen is what must be offered to the customer. Talk about a deal!!!

Great unless the actual covered value is 0-100$

Square trade (im not sure who BB sells) does offer plans for tablets that run 0-100$ - total rip BTW

Agreed, i think the cost is based on the purchased value. I would double check on that if i were you.

FYI on Geek Squad, if there's a device replacement they'll frequently cut you a gift card for the purchase amount. So turnabout is fair play with the $0 :p

Ahh except my reciept says the value is 729 and it says I'm being billed through installment billing to Verizon. So I'm good to go. Btw, I am also an attorney and have read through the contract. I'm more then covered.
