Ipad air 2 home button noise

When I click the touch ID button I hear noise when click and when i click the touch ID button even when the screen is off would that be consider normal ?

A noise out of the speakers or a mechanical noise from pushing the button?

from the button it self i have the ipad air 2 16 GB

It's normal, there is a soft sound when you depress the button, on or off.

Other than the click when pressing, nope, I don't hear anything else. I'm on a 64GB Space Grey Air 2, if that makes any difference.

when I click it lightly the touch id button when screen off or on I hear click noise
