I've had my Air 2 for a couple weeks now and love it, but I have been experiencing random shut downs and cannot power back on unless I hold both the home and power buttons for a few seconds. Battery is fully charged, so that is not the issue. It happens when I try and wake it from sleep and nothing happens: blank screen and power button does not work. Only thing that works is the home and power buttons for a hard reset.

Is anybody else experiencing this? I've owned all pervious versions of the iPad (except the 4) and have not experienced this before. Just wondering if it is a software bug with iOS 8, or something hardware related.

I have been experiencing the exact same thing since last month. Were you able to solve the problem?
