Guys, I've been using my Air 2 for a month now. But I'm finding that far too often I have to touch the screen quite firmly and for a long period for it to react. Is this normal. This wasn't the case for my iPhone 4 nor is it for my current Nexus 5.

Do I have a shoddy device?

It sounds like an issue for sure. If this was common there'd be a thread here about it already. It's obviously still under warranty so I'd get it sorted out through Apple if I were you. Not normal at all.

I play WoT blitz and find I was having to touch the screen sometimes 2 or 3 times b4 it worked. Found the answer in the Forum. It only happened when ipad was charging and I was using a third party charger. Only use the apple charger it fixed my touch problem. hope this helped

As above, this is either caused by dodgy grounding in the charger, or a faulty digitiser. Try it with a different charger - if it still does it, get the iPad replaced. If it stops - the charger needs to go!

Thanks for the replies guys. I got a rrplacement but that is the same as the old one. I done some research into this and it turns out that all iPad airs have a less sensitive screen. I guess I'm just too used to the sensitivity of my nexus 5!
