Picked up a great deal on an Air 2 last week, Walmart selling/clearing out new old stock of IPad Air 2 that they still had buried in their cabinets. Over a year since went on the floor, as it came out of the box with 9.3.2. Haven't updated to 10.3.2.

Is there any value to a niche group of people, to keep it at 9.3.2? Specifically jail breaking ability? I likely won't use it as such, but others may covet this OS version since it's not signed anymore fro Apple. 9.3.2 seemed to brick IPP with the error 56, but was it safe for Air 2?

Have a few days to decide to return it for full refund, or hold onto it. There is no question I will get a 10.5 IPP at some point soon as I had an Air 2 and sold it a few weeks ago in anticipation of the IPP, but this deal popped up and was too good to pass up, even if only 16gb, and it gave me an IPad to bridge the gap between regular iPads if nothing else.

May keep it as a spare, as the wife and child have iPads and if one of theirs has issues or worse down the road, this would be a ideal spare at a fraction of the cost of new, but just wondering if it has additional value because it's not updated. I expect the answer is no but just checking.
