Yes, I was afraid of that. Quality control seems to very low these days. Last week I got the new iPhone 12 Pro and the screen has a slightly uneven brightness... Probably within the specs but still noticable.
Tried to take a photo of it but it was almost impossible to see something because I wasn't able to get the whole edge in focus. Now it has been packed in the box waiting for a return. Sorry...
I've not reordered, it was for studying - gonna stick to the Mini ( that i also need to send back .. :-/ ), maybe in the new year if the bending reports are thin on the ground.
Ok. I have not seen any other reports about this issue so I guess it is not that common. Have you heard about anyone else getting a bent Air 4?
Sorry to hear that. I ordered a new one and that had no bending issue but instead it had (the very common) backlight bleed and also a slight "shadow" effect along the left screen edge when in portrait. Very disappointed to say the least. Apple QC these days are not what they used to be. I have now decided to wait a month or two or maybe go for the iPad Pro instead.
totaly agree with you about apple qc..i will wait also for a few months to see the new ipad pro,the problem is i was planning to buy the new m1 macbook air,but after i found this bend i decided to wait and see more customers reviews not the youtubers reviews.
