Im leaning towards black. I find it more ergonomically pleasant without that white bezel shining in my face.

However, ios7 seem to be designed for white units, its all they front in ads, etc and i have to say ios7 looks better on a white iphone.

What do you guys think?

Always bet on..... yes I am getting BLACK!

That white distracts me too much when watching video, serious I have no idea how people like it.

On a phone I don't mind though.

I will be getting a black iPad. All my iPads have been black thus far, I much prefer it over the white. The white iPhone looks pretty sharp but too much white space for me on the iPad.

Black is much better for video and photo, as well as some of the new apps.

White looks better with some of the iOS 7 themes though.

No freaking idea! I had the iPad in black, the iPad 2 in black and the mini in white. Maybe I'll come back to black. If it was black and slate I'd pick this one without a glimpse. Not sure about space grey though...

how is it distracting when watching movies? are you distracted by the wall behind the ipad and your hands on the side as well?

I DON'T KNOW!

My son had a white iPad 2 and I loved how it looked but I've only had black iPads. I was never really distracted by the white bezel on my iPhone and with the reduced bezel on the iPad air it should be less so.

Must...make...up....mind....

I agree with the OP

And actually, I'm a bit surprised by this. To make the OS in this way.

Don't know

I have white ipad 2, planning to buy white ipad air. I like white because web browsing and reading with white background blends better with white. Also it's sexy and always looks cleaner without any finger prints.

I'm rocking the white.. Matched it up with a red smart case - I support (PRODUCT) red..

Always black for me. I could be enticed to by a navy blue one if existed, but I like dark bezels. Less distracting for me and frames the screen better.
