ipad air drag and drop mp4

Im trying to drag and drop mp4 movies onto my uncles ipad air. It shows the files on itunes but they are not on the ipad. I have not done this in a while, is there something that has changed to transfer the files?

Ok, then sorry I bave no other idea. Been a while since I tried to drag and drop videos also, I usually just sync.

Those videos do work on other iDevices?

How about use 3rd party app for video? I use an app called HD player and it runs great on my iPad. And it supports file sharing under itunes so you can easily drag n drop to the app instead of fiddling around itunes sync (which can be confusing at times)

As a bonus it also plays mkv and it's free too! (There might be some iap though iirc)
