iPad iPad Air Held Up In Korea... Anyone Else?

So... I posted this elsewhere but I decided to make my own thread.

My iPad Air was supposed to be delivered tomorrow but then I get a status update for this...

Anyone else? Am I even going to be getting it anytime soon? Such a disappointment. I knew something was wrong when I saw it held up in Korea for days...

Oh god... UPS. I live in the UK ordered an item from London to my home in Scotland. Not that far huh? It went to Germany in error?? Then back to London, then up to me in about a 3 week delivery time. Good luck!

might as well go to the apple store and pick one up... when it does come in a month, you can return it....
 
I should add UPS scans the lorry NOT the package. My item tracked to 130 miles away but was not on the lorry. I got told this by an honest employee. I'm guessing there is a barcode held by the driver. If its misplaced they don't know till someone enquires. Then they send out a tracker to look for it at all depo's. If not found a claim can be made.
 
Thanks for all the help guys. If I don't see a status update by tomorrow then I'll call Apple and request a refund. What a bunch of garbage. Doesn't sound like I'll be getting it any time soon unless I buy it in a store. Which also sucks cause I pissed away $600 bucks and need to spend another $600 waiting for my refund.
 
Update: Called Apple. They're sending out a shipment investigation to see exactly how long it might be.

The customer service of this company is ridiculous. They're sending me a free smart case for the Air for my inconvenience. Hopefully it'll get sorted out with the shipment delay (which is UPS's fault, not Apple's), but their customer service is impeccable.

Glad to see it moving. Exceptions like this in Korea are very common.

I'm assuming it's flying to anchorage so it's probably still in Korea since the scheduled UPS flight leaves around midnight

Korea for you, Hong Kong for me.

I was kinda hoping --- pipe dream, I know, that I would've been pleasantly surprised with a Friday delivery but after almost two days at Lantau Island FedEx facility, realization sunk in that Monday it's going to be. At least that's two days earlier than Apple's projected delivery date;)

Just curious.. the iPad Air isn't for sale in Korea yet on Apple's website. How is your's getting delivered to Korea?
