So happen to use my finger to touch the iPad Air screen while charging. Nothing to do so , I use my finger using the side of it to touch the iPad Air screen. It seem need to firmly touch than it will wake up whereas come iPhone , I just touch softly it will wake up.

Some folks told me iPad Air the screen is different from iPhone. Perhaps this is why touch sensitive is different?

it’s certainly “different,” iPad is LCD and iPhone is OLED unless you go back several years.

Just playing with my M2 iPad Air, and while yes, it is possible to touch it without waking it I don’t see it as problematic. Nothing I would classify as a “deliberate touch” fails to wake it.

Hmm interesting. I more curious perhaps due to different screen thus the touch sensitive is slightly different?
