Hi,
got an ipad air M2 13inch 128 gb. had around 60 data on it.
i have also got an apple pencil usb-c and apple pencil 1st gen for my ipad 9th gen.

What are the must have accessories for the ipad air M2.

Data storage device usb or hdd which one, can i use the storage device with my MacBook pro M2 16 inch.
What pencil do you recommend, just got Apple pencil usb-c to try, was thinking about pencil pro.
what pencil and alternates you recommend for drawing, notes taking and college work.
Thanks

Get an SSD - Samsungs T5, 7 or 9 works reliable between both devices. When you do not need to use it for transfering data also to a Windows or Linux system, format it APFS on your Macbook , that will allow fastest transfer times between both. If other OS come in play, use ExFAT.

For Notes and knowledge management take a look at Joplin, Obsidian or Anytype - all run on cross platform/devices and are free. Apple Notes and Freeform are also quite nice.

Regarding pencil and drawing - programs I use on iPad and Mac: Procreate for pixel-based, Affinity Designer (or get the whole suite when on a sale) or Amadine for vector, any pencil with magnetic charging will do, even the cheap ones from Amazon. Obviously YMMV.

What’s your major?

semi professional /
To draw home improvement's design
2D -> e.g., SketchUp, Morpholio (incl. free version with reg.), the free Updraw - there is a bunch. Semi-professionally you might get away with a vector drawing program like e.g. the free Inkpad or Affinity Design (?)
