iPad iPad Air rear camera worse?

Does anyone feel as though the iPad Air's rear camera is worse compared to the iPad 3rd gen and 4th gen? I certainly feel like my iPad 3rd gen took better photo's. I know it's silly to take photo's with a tablet but many people do. What are your opinions?
