IPad Air tap not aligned correctly

Since installing ios 8 I'm noticing on many videos the tap to start the video is not on the arrow but to the side of it. I could not get it to play and finally figured out I had to tap to the side.
Anyone else noticing this and is there a fix?
 
Haven't seen or heard much about this. Did you do a soft reset just for giggles? Have you upgraded to iOS 8.02 yet? They did fix a bunch of little things which don't always get listed.
 
Yes reset a gazillion times because of the internet freezing. And I have up dated to 8.0.2. Wish there was a way to reset the tap.
