my hp computer and two laptops won’t even connect to iTunes windows 7/10. IPad charge work fine on usb waln outlet. How do I get my iPad connect to iTunes I had tried everything.

Messed up windows driver possibly. Did you try to uninstall and reinstall iTunes?! And also check if the ports are fine?!

iTunes probably doesn’t support windows 7 anymore. Your best bet is to try with windows 10.

I agree that drivers or some components of iTunes can be damaged. Re-install is a good idea. Note that all Apple apps and services like Bonjour and others should be re-installed as well. But I do not agree that problem is in Windows version. I have Windows 7 and everything is working just great with iPad and iPhone.

Wow windows 7?! Really?!

Ps. The windows 7 think was just a suggestion.

I want to know third party lighting charge can damage iPad port. My iPad Air still won’t connect to my computer windows 7/10 and I am using IOS 12.

Do you have an option - USB accessories - under Touch ID & passcode?!

If that’s turned off then you need to authenticate your iPad with Touch ID or passcode when you connect it to your computer, then only it will start charging.
