All iPads iPad Air + Work flow question

Hey guys! I'm interested in picking up the iPad Air next Friday. I'm really hoping that I can do all my work related tasks that I do on my PC, on the iPad Air.

Can I:

Open a word.doc from dropbox, edit it, and send it, along with 5-10 pictures in an email?

This is all I really need to do. I know doing each of those things separately is possible, but I would love to do them together...and I would be able to fully replace my laptop.

I know it will let me add pictures to the word doc, but will it allow me to insert the file and pictures as separate attachments to an email?
