iPad and LogMeIn make a laptop obsolete?

I have Logmein and my experiences pretty much mirror everyone else's. Having said that, I have started using Microsoft's new remote desktop app and am really liking that one. And it's free.
 
I use teamviewer. Logmein and splashtop are no longer free... logmein is now available only as trial and splashtop wants monthly subscription...:mad:
