Ipad and mouse

my dream is to use a mouse with a stock ipad. Why isnt this possible? Surely it's an obvious thing for either Apple or a 3rd party dev to create. Theres most certainly money in it. Why isnt it so? And does any think it might sometime be possible? I know jb ipads can achieve it.

Why isn't it possible? Because Apple doesn't want to allow it... at least for now. I don't think it would be possible for a 3rd party dev to implement it since it requires low-level access to the OS.

I think it is a only a matter of time before Apple relents and provides support for mice.
