It seems like Samsung has IP certification for its tablets, and I don't know why Apple doesn't. Yet, the phones are all IP68 certified. To me, it seems like a no-brainer on the iPads as well. What do you guys think?

Nope, I think your best hope is a very good weather proof case, but that’ll add bulk. Apple doesn’t seem interested in waterproofing its tablets.

Samsung offers IP-rated tablets, like the Galaxy Tab Active series, but Apple hasn’t extended its iPhone’s IP68 certification to iPads. This could be because iPads are primarily used indoors, where water resistance isn’t as crucial. Waterproofing larger devices like tablets also poses design challenges. However, I personally think as tablets are increasingly used in professional settings, Apple might consider adding IP certification in future models.
