iPad App combines graphics of every generation (Kickstarter)

    Hey guys, just finished the 8 month process of coding this little puppy. It's a platformer that dynamically changes graphics as you play. From 1-bit to 8-bit to 16-bit to HD finally. We wanted to play homage to video game history, so each level starts out like a Gameboy game, and eventually evolved into full HD.

    Also the controls were key, because we wanted console controls on iOS devices. Trickiest thing is the lack of a D-Pad, so we invented kinda a fusion plat-former runner hybrid that gives you really precise controls on a touch screen.

    It looks great, sounds great, and that's a clever way of using the different styles.

    I just think your $20,000 goal is a bit too high compared to successfully funded and released ones that were just as complex.

    But good luck. :)

    Wow thank you so much, very kind words.

    The price isn't just reflective of other KS'ers tho, it's based on what the team would need to basically live for a year working on this for.

    You do know that EvoLand already does this exact idea?

    Not that I want to crap on 8 months of your work, but you should know it's out there. EvoLand gets quite boring half way through, though. So you've got that on your side.
