The screenshots are in Dutch, so the Netherlands (or half of Belgium) should be on the list, too. Strange, as it's not one of the countries where the iPad goes on sale the 28th.

iPad goes on sale in the Netherlands in July, according to the Apple (Dutch) website...

I don't see Keynote, Pages or Numbers in the Canadian App Store.
Maybe they're working on a French localization?
Usually takes them a while. It took from iWork 08 to iWork 09 before they added translations other than the "big three" (German/French/Spanish).

Just a thought. Admittedly not one of my best.

No kidding. And apple.se still has the giant iPad ad all over the front page. It's been that way since the announcement. "En magisk och revolutionerande enhet till ett otroligt pris". Ahh, interesting, let's click to find out what the 'unbelievable price' is. Hmm, product page. No mention. Let's check the Store. Ah yes, there's the iPad, now if I click... uh, that took me to the product page again.

When did they say we were getting it, September?

Hehe, I actually don't think we'll get rev1 in Sweden. Just like the iPhone I think we will be left in the dark until the next one.

You're not the only one.

I'm cool with that, wouldn't want to buy 6 month old technology anyway (2-3 months before the next iPad generation comes out...). But my point is that back when the original iPhone was released, the local Apple sites didn't mirror the US site in regions that wouldn't be getting the iPhone. There was no iPhone button in the navigation pane and no giant iPhone ads on apple.se until the 3G model arrived. But now, apple.se has basically been ipad.se for several months. I'm not sure it's smart to hijack the entire site in favor of a product that's several months away, when there have been other new releases (like new MBPs) that are available in Sweden and other iPad-less countries...

Yeah I agree. I believe Apple might have had plans to have an international launch at the same date but they probably couldn't produce enough of them. If they change the site back now though it's going to be weird :p

Austrian Store is also working now

However no sign of iWork apps yet...

Perhaps it is a sign of early shipments / delivery for the international orders.

My order says :-

Estimated Shipping: Delivers by May 28th

Which is not what Apple usually say on their orders, they usually give the estimated shipping date NOT a delivers by. To me this looks it can come any day before or on the 28th May.

Just searched, there is no pages, keynote or numbers yet. Maybe you will have to wait a little longer.

Ditto here, my iPad can now get iPad apps from the Canadian store (even while I am in France) but no Pages, no Numbers and no iBookstore books yet. It's a start. I guess by month-end it will be all working.

They changed the terms, saying that I can only buy at the Canadian store when in Canada and they will enforce it via your ip number, but clearly they aren't doing that yet. Nor should they - sheesh, people travel you know!

Secondly, these content "owners" are a pain - shouldn't the intellectual rights belong to the authors instead of these middlemen who partition the rights off to individual country distributers. The EU is attacking this travesty in Europe, but what about the rest of the "free" world?

It would be even nicer when apple would also put its own apps in the international stores. No pages, numbers, keynote or iBook apps in the store.

And ironically iDisk and mobile me gallery app are so far iphone only, but that is some other topic. :D

I find it quite surprising that Chinese books are available through iBooks even though the app itself isn't available in the Hong Kong store (I had to first download it on my American account and then log on my local account). Another surprise is that many iPad-only apps already have many feedbacks even though the iPad won't be officially released for at least another month. I still don't understand why Apple won't let its international users get Pages/Keynotes/Numbers (not that it bothers me that much since I already bought them with my other account).
