Is there an app that would allow one to send a text message to a mobile phone number only?
Awesome, totally forgot about my GoogleVoice.
Thank you !
What about us non-Americans?
ive been meaning to get a google voice account
anyone have an invite code left? ..pweeze?
I have one what's your email?
I'm not sure what you mean by "only" but I am using TextPlus. It is working well so far.
How long does it take to get a google voice invite?
I'm using Ping!
Anyone got invite left? If so email@example.com
Well, I use Text+
Unlimited free texts to send and receive
There is a free version (with ads) of this app if you'd like to try it out
By only i meant the 7 digit phone number of the mobile device.
I use Beejive, and it works very well, but then the person that i'm iming needs to be logged it (weather it be Google, Aol, Yahoo, etc), to receive my sms/mms.
And of course, the person needs some kind of account and a name/email thru the IM client.
Some of my friends are not that tech happy, so i need to have a way to send a sms/mms directly to their 7 digit mobile phone number.
BTW, i never used TextPlus, does the receiving phone needs to have TextPlus installed as well? If i use TextPlus to sms someone in Canada, what phone number comes up on their end?
TextPlus is great, and free.
Did you get an invite yet?
BTW, thanks for the heads up on this app, can't believe it flew under my radar.
Two more questions about TextPlus, what if the receiving party doesn't have a data plan? Will they still get my sms? and, is this app available thru iTunes Store in Canada?
If anyone has an extra google voice invite please send me one my email is firstname.lastname@example.org it would be greatly appreciated
Sorry to jump in on this, but I have been trying to set up a google voice for sometime...any chance you have a invite code for me as well
Textplus works with wi-fi on my iPad and with wi-fi or Edge on my iPhone.
