iPad apps now with pop up ads?

just curious how things work. I have been playing a slot game on my iPad for a long time. There has never been those ads everytime I switch to a different screen within the game. But recently noticed this is happening. Does this type of thing get added by the developer? They can ad this stuff anytime? Strange it happens now. I've been playing a long time. And they don't have a pay to get rid of ads option.

They could have added them in the latest update. Might check the App Store Updates tab.

Hmm as recent as when I saw these things.

Could be simply through the ads that are scheduled to run by the ad network that is used to serve up the ads in the app.

Oh I see. Thanks for the info. Just seemed weird and wanted to,know what may have caused this.
