    So far the only app I've encountered that I use regularly that doesn't have an iPad optimized version is PayPal

    Wow that is interesting! You would think Paypal would have a iPad app that is optimized.

    I know, right? Just weird. But literally every other app I use is iPad optimized.

    Yeah - only app I have noticed. Weird. PayPal Here is for iPad though. Not sure why regular app isn't. Small company I guess :)

    Experienced developers use Adaptive Layouts that work with both iPad's and iPhone's multiple screen resolutions and sizes with a single app. 'Most' new apps will work on multiple devices using the same code.

    An often overlooked advantage that iOS has over other platforms.
